Damaging Storms Move Through Western Pa.

HOLIDAY PARK (KDKA) – A strong line of storms moved through western Pennsylvania Sunday afternoon.

The storms packed heavy rains, high winds and even hail as they quickly moved through the area.

Some local communities sustained some damage as a result of the storms.

In Holiday Park, two trees toppled in the 100-block of Alcan Drive. One of the trees came down on a swimming pool.

Another tree was brought down on McKnight Road in McCandless, which blocked one of the northbound lanes.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.
