Sporting news is off their rocker. The two loses will be to the B’more Ravens & we all know the Steal=ers will lose to another worthy opponent.

No. The Ravens do not match up with the Steelers yet again in 2011. It is the Purple Brownies that will go home pouting this year.

Are they on drugs? Not having Harrison on the All Division Team is just plain silliness.

Are you blind? I’m on the list. smh

LMAO! That would be great, but that is NOT going to happen! Because of the pathetically weak division we’re in we’ll make the playoffs, but not because of a 14-2 record.

I am a huge Steelers fan but they won’t win 14 games, 12 is more likely. I also see them losing to the Ravens once, then losing to the Colts, then Arizona, and they get their fourth lose to the Patriots.
Still very good and should easily give them the division title.

gee Mike you really know how to dig deep to find a story.how could this site ever survive without you

I sure hope the media outlets are wrong about the record they are predicting for the Steelers. They did get one thing right though… They will NEVER beat the PATRIOTS!!! Go Pats!!!
August 26, 2011 at 4:23 pm
I predict the Steelers will have another 2009 season.. ie – go 9-7 miss the playoffs all while losing to the Bengals Raiders and Browns. LOL
August 26, 2011 at 5:32 pm
Maybe 9-7 with the offensive line we have. No playoffs this year. Steelers will finish 3rd behind the Ravens and Browns.
August 26, 2011 at 5:57 pm
steelers will beat the patriots this year!!!!!!!!!!!GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!#1

Steelers can’t win games that start at 4 PM or 4:15 PM. It just doesn’t happen. Although the last time we played the Pats at home at 4:15 the refs decided to just waste an entire minute off the game clock for no reason at all. And of course nothing was done.
August 26, 2011 at 6:26 pm
WOW! I can see playoffs, but 14-2? That’s REALLY asking a lot! I hope that’s the case, but I’m also not counting on it!
August 26, 2011 at 6:33 pm
I think the Steelers can win every game from now until eternity! Get real Steeler Slappies, can we for once be realistic and say they can win from 9 to 11 games? A lot can happen during a season, injuries, unexpected teams playing better than anticipated as Seattle did last year, etc… Now I realize this town hasn’t got much else going besides the Steelers, but let’s try and be realistic.
August 26, 2011 at 11:56 pm
Ill say 10-6 and at best 11-5. Although I would love to see them tank for a few years so the bandwagon jumpers leave and people sell their season tix and seat licenses. Thereby making it more affordable for true fans to be able to attend.

Steelers will be 12 and 4. They will be playing the Detroit Lions. I picked the Steelers reord last year and pick them to play the Packers in the superbowl. I had the Steelers winning.
