WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Police are investigating after two people were found dead in a Westmoreland County home early Monday morning.

According to police, the bodies were found at a home in the 200-block of Fox Road in Washington Township.

Initially, police were called to the house for a report of someone being assaulted around 9 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they began investigating what may be a home invasion and two possible homicides.

Police believe up to two individuals may have been involved in the home invasion.

According to the criminal complaint, three men were traveling to the house. When they arrived, a white male in his 20s began attacking them with a baseball bat.

One of the men was struck in the face with the bat and there is no word on his condition.

While they called 911, the suspect was seen driving down Route 66.

The victims have been identified as Anthony Henderson and Noelle Richards.

Henderson was found face down on the basement floor, while Richards was found slumped over the living room couch.

There are indications that there may have been drug activity at the house in the past.
