Friends Devastated After 2 Found Dead In Washington Twp.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police have a murder mystery on their hands.

They were called to investigate an assault, but when they arrived at the Washington Township home, they found two people dead.

Anthony Henderson and his girlfriend, Noel Richards, both 24, were found dead last night inside his home on Fox Road.

"I was quite devastated. It's definitely close to home," Scott Johns, a friend, said. "He lived with me for like a year and a half. It's gonna be tough – definitely tough."

Police were initially called to the house after three men who knocked on the door said they were attacked by a white man in 20s who was wielding a baseball bat.

Before police arrived, two other men who entered the house through a back sliding door called 911 to report what they had found.

Henderson was face down on the basement floor. His girlfriend was slumped over on the couch. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

"The sad part is I don't care what it was related around – nobody deserves to be killed, you know," Michel Grasinger, the victims' friend, said. "That's disgusting, you know. He was a young, young, kid."

An autopsy is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
