Greene Co. Bank Robber Arrested

CENTER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A man who was wanted in connection with a Greene County bank robbery last week has been arrested.

According to State Police, 21-year-old Timothy Bateman robbed the Community Bank in Rogersville, Center Township on Wednesday

He allegedly passed a note to the teller demanding large bills. The note also said if she did not comply, he would kill everyone in the bank.

He was arrested after relatives came forward after seeing his picture in a local newspaper.

He was taken into custody without incident and police said he also confessed to the crime.
