PITTSBURGH (SportsRadio 93-7 The FAN) — College Football Legend Beano Cook joined Joe Starkey and Josh Miller of Seibel, Starkey and Miller on his 80th Birthday to talk about the upcoming college football season.

When asked what he’s doing to celebrate his birthday today, Beano said he’s happy to see another day and hopes to see another one tomorrow.

Beano also weighed in on Todd Graham saying he didn’t necessarily agree with Pitt Athletic Director Steve Pederson getting rid of Dave Wannstedt, and he knows he was wrong in hiring Michael Haywood, but he definitely got it right bringing in Todd Graham.

Beano also discusses the Pitt to the Big 12 rumors saying he cannot see them going.

Another hot topic in college football is Joe Paterno, and Beano told us he thinks Paterno can still operate at a high level and that if anyone can win at his age, it’s him.

We also had Beano weigh in on a number of things that bother him throughout college football and life in general.
