MAHONING TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One woman was killed in a Saturday morning crash in Armstrong County.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the accident happened on Route 28/66 in Mahoning Township around 12:15 a.m.

A pickup truck attempted to pass a tractor-trailer. As the pickup truck pulled alongside the tractor-trailer, it clipped its side.

As a result, the collision forced the pickup truck off of the road. The vehicle struck several trees before coming to rest.

The victim has been identified as Nicole Duttry, 35, of DuBois. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
