SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – An early Monday morning fire at a Fayette County restaurant is under investigation.

According to police, the fire broke out at the Caddy Shack Bar & Grill on Dixon Boulevard in South Union Township around 5 a.m.

A passerby noticed the fire and called 911.

When firefighters arrived, the flames were coming through the roof. The damage is estimated at $400,000.

No one was inside at the time and there are no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
