Bridge Connecting Washington, Greene Counties Demolished
EAST BETHLEHEM (KDKA) – A bridge over Ten Mile Creek was demolished Monday afternoon.
The bridge, which carries Route 88 traffic between Greene and Washington Counties, was imploded around 5:30 p.m.
The area around the bridge will be closed for about 48 hours to boaters while crews work to remove the debris.
Motor vehicle traffic will not be affected because the new bridge is already up.
