PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Hopewell head football coach Dave Vestal joined John Phillips on the season premiere of “The UPMC High School Football Show” to break down the Vikings’ 22-19 upset of defending Parkway Conference champion Montour in Week 2.

Dave explains the play that helped Hopewell score the game’s final points and knock off the top-ranked team in WPIAL Class AAA, the role his players have in helping determine strategy for each game, and why the leadership of quarterback Nolan Harmatto should not be overlooked.

He also talks about the evolution of heavily-recruited tailback Rushel Shell within the program, and is asked whether or not Shell has confided in him about his college decision.
