Child Dropped From Window Home From Hospital

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A toddler who was injured after a woman dropped her from a third-floor window in Beaver County last month is now home from the hospital.

Alizae Mosconi, who will turn 2-years-old on Thursday, spent nearly three weeks in Children's Hospital after the August 25th incident at the Brightwood Manor Housing Complex.

Police say Terra Hill, 27, held the child out of the window to "teach her a lesson" after the little girl hit her in the face with a ball.

A doctor from Children's Hospital said Mosconi suffered a fractured skull, fractured facial bones, extensive bruising, swelling and scrapes, in addition to two broken arms and a lacerated spleen in the fall.

Hill is still awaiting trial on charges including aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
