Woman Arrested After Keying Officers' Personal Vehicles

GREENSBURG (KDKA) – Greensburg Police arrested a woman who keyed their personal cars after they arrested her son for DUI.

Donna Desport, 54, of Derry Township, is now in more trouble than her son.

KDKA-TV was there as she was brought into the police station and she was not happy to see the cameras.

"Put that camera down or I'll bust it," Desport said.

Surveillance video shows her damaging officers' personal vehicles.

"They call it 'keying,' but she could use any type of metal object and scratch the vehicle. [She] actually scratched the paint down to the metal," Greensburg Police Captain George Seranko said.

Desport caused about $5,000 in damage, but she didn't stop there.

She also flicked a cigarette butt into a police car, which burned an officer's jacket.

Desport is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison on $15,000 straight bond, but that's not the end of her troubles.

She was also on probation for three DUIs and may be charged with violating that probation.
