PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Mount Lebanon senior tailback Luke Hagy joined 93.7 The Fan’s John Phillips on “The UPMC High School Football Show” Saturday to discuss the Blue Devils’ 16-0 win over visiting Penn Hills in Quad-A non-conference action Friday.

Hagy did not finish the game due to a right leg injury in the second half.

Luke, who entered Week 3 as the Class AAAA rushing leader, updates us on that injury. The winner of the 2010-11 Post-Gazette Male Athlete of the Year award, he also explains how he handles being a three-sport athlete (football, basketball, baseball), and the role his family has played in his success. He also talks about how Mount Lebanon will handle the competition in its classification after a disappointing finish in last year’s playoffs.

In addition, Luke talks about which sport he wants to focus on in college, and gives us a recruiting update.
