PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – ROOT Sports studio host and WPIAL football play-by-play announcer Rob King joined 93.7 The Fan’s John Phillips on “The UPMC High School Football Show” Saturday to share his thoughts on last night’s network game.

The game featured defending Class AAA champ Central Valley go up to New Castle and whip the Red Hurricane, 48-25, in Parkway Conference competition.

Rob gives his impressions of legendary Taggart Stadium in New Castle, and talks about what impressed him the most about the Warriors. He also looks back on the impact head coach Mark Lyons, now in his second year with the new program, has had, and discusses what adjustments made late last season may be helping Central Valley’s offense this year.
