UNIONTOWN (KDKA) — Authorities have now identified the Fairchance woman who was killed Saturday in a violent crash in Fayette County.

According to state police, 50-year-old Renee Zubovic was headed northbound in her vehicle on Route 857 north of Spring Alley just before 6 p.m. when the accident happened.

State police say Zubovic lost control of her 2003 Hyundai Tiburon, then left the roadway and struck a pole.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fayette County Deputy Coroner.
