Police Investigate North Huntingdon Fatal Shooting

NORTH HUNTINGDON (KDKA) – A man was shot and killed in a North Huntingdon home, but police are not releasing many details about the case.

Sources said this may be a case of self-defense following a domestic dispute.

Bullet holes can be seen in an upstairs window of a home on Hill Drive.

Police took evidence out of the home Saturday afternoon, but did not offer many details about the investigation.

A man, who claims to be the brother of the woman who lives in the home, told KDKA-TV's Paul Martino what he believes happened.

He said his sister and another man were attacked by her former boyfriend with a lead pipe. The other man allegedly shot and killed the attacker.

Police have not released the name of the victim or the shooter at this time and their investigation is ongoing.

No charges have been filed.
