Fire Breaks Out At Neville Island Recycling Plant

NEVILLE ISLAND (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to the scene of a recycling center fire on Neville Island early Monday morning.

According to officials at the scene, the fire broke out at Neville Recycling in the 3400-block of Grand Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

The fire started and was contained in a building where paper products were stored.

It took firefighters about an hour to bring it under control.

There is no word on what sparked the fire and there are no reported injuries.
