ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Police in Ross Township are looking for a purse thief.

The incidents happened at Giant Eagle stores in McCandless and Ross Township.

In each case, the victims left their purses in their cart. When they turned away, that’s when the suspect struck.

Police say the suspect is a white female with brown hair and a medium to heavy build.

Investigators say the suspect may have also been involved with incidents at other grocery stores in the area.

She may have been accompanied by a woman described as a black female.
