In a week from now Fred Couples will have made his decision. Wait, didn't he already make his decision on who was going to be on his Presidents Cup team in Australia? Didn't he pick Tiger Woods?

Oh yes, he did, but Couples gets another pick.

After the 10 players qualified for the team by points after the BMW Championship, Couples is left with his two captains picks.

Couples picked Woods weeks ago, mainly it seemed so he didn't have to continue answering questions about Woods and if he would or wouldn't be on the team.

So with Matt Kuchar, Steve Stricker, Dustin Johnson, Webb Simpson, Nick Watney, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, David Toms and Jim Furyk on the team and Woods a pick, who's next?

The leaders in the clubhouse are Brandt Snedeker, Bill Haas, Rickie Fowler and Keegan Bradley.

"I think Brandt Snedeker, Bill Haas and probably Keegan Bradley are the three leaders in this three-ring circus right now to be the 12th guy," Couples said Sunday about his possible pick. "Brandt Snedeker has been playing incredible golf and Bill Haas has, too. Of course, Keegan Bradley has won twice this year, including a major."

Of course Couples has another week, he can see how each of his circus animals perform in Atlanta and then use their performance as the final part of his 12 team puzzle. He has been paying a lot of attention last week during the BMW Championship and could pick someone out of the blue like Zach Johnson.

"As far as anyone else, I think it would be even a surprise if a Zach Johnson won next week, we still have another week, but that could easily change anyone's mind. I mean, I want these guys to know that THE TOUR Championship is still deciding my second pick for the 12th spot on the team."

By the way Fred, Johnson didn't qualify for Atlanta.

It should be fun in Melbourne.
