The Special Olympics & The Polar Plunge
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - The Special Olympics came to the NewsRadio 1020 KDKA studios this morning to talk about the what they do and their upcoming fundraising event to raise money for the athletes.
Some of the biggest supporters of the Special Olympics are law enforcement.
Rob Pratte talked to members from the FBI, Allegheny County DA's office, Pittsburgh Police and Pittsburgh SWAT. The Special Olympics are holding the Polar Plunge that will be happening on Sunday, Dec. 11.
