Battle Over Awning Goes To Court

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- KDKA Radio's Mike Pintek talked to Jaime Snyder, the mother of Jonah, who can't spend time in the sun due to health issues, because they can't have an awning.

They want to put up the awning on the front of their home in the Summerset at Frick park housing plan in Squirrel Hill, but are not able to because of the neighborhood association.

The association says that the awning wouldn't fit the design of the home.  Off to court goes the case of the awning.
