PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Authorities are investigating two Sunday evening shootings around the area. One was in Allegheny County and the other happened in Westmoreland County.

In Westmoreland County, officials say the shooting happened in an alley between Kenneth Avenue and Constitution Boulevard in New Kensington.

According to initial reports, a man was shot several times and was taken to a local hospital.

In Allegheny County, officials say a person suffered a gunshot wound to the head on State Route 908 in Fawn Township.

The victim was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
