SWAT Team Called To Mt. Washington Home

MT. WASHINGTON (KDKA) – The SWAT team was called to a home in Mount Washington after a man allegedly fired a gun at a woman.

According to officials, the incident started at a home on Harwood Street around 4:30 a.m. He was taken into custody just before 8 a.m.

It is believed that a woman went to visit her ex-boyfriend at the home.

The man allegedly pointed a gun at her and fired one shot in the air.

She was able to get away and has met with police at the scene.

The street was blocked off as SWAT officers tried to coax the man out of the home.
