HAZELWOOD (KDKA) – Two people were arrested after a SWAT incident in Hazelwood Wednesday morning.

According to police, the victim was kidnapped by two people in Pitcairn around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspects have been identified as 34-year-old Cornell Johnston and 32-year-old Tamika Jones.

The victim reportedly owed the male suspect $1,400.

The suspects drove the victim to a home on Langhorn Street in Hazelwood and locked him in a bedroom.

The victim was able to call 911 from his cell phone around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

When police and SWAT arrived, the victim escaped by jumping from a second-story window.

No other details have been released at this time.
