An eyebrow-raising victory by Penn-Trafford (2-0, 4-0) over perennial Quad-A power and conference rival Gateway (1-1, 3-1) in Week 4 is attracting much-deserved attention to a program seeking its first championship of any kind in a decade.

As a result, the Warriors' Week 6 home game against Foothills Conference rival McKeesport (1-0, 3-1) will be featured live on ROOT Sports next Friday, per an earlier announcement by ROOT Sports' Rob King and the Tribune-Review's Kevin Gorman.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30, and the game will re-air at midnight.

Until then, Penn-Trafford will try to maintain sole possession of first place in the conference when it visits an improved Connellsville (1-1, 2-2) squad this Friday night at 7:30, while the Tigers, who are coming off a non-conference loss to Seneca Valley, will try to stay one game back when they host Latrobe (0-2, 2-2) at that same time.

Meanwhile, this Friday's ROOT Sports matchup pits Belle Vernon (2-0, 3-1) against host Chartiers Valley (2-0, 2-2) in Class AAA Big Eight Conference action.

You can hear more from King on that game by tuning into "The UPMC Centers for Rehab Services High School Football Show," brought to you by ROOT Sports and hosted by John Phillips, Saturday at 7:00 A.M. on SportsRadio 93.7 The Fan. ROOT Sports high school football coordinator producer Craig McConnell will also appear to provide Week 5 analysis.
