MOON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — One person has been hospitalized after an accident involving a car and tractor trailer in Moon Township.

According to Moon Township police, the two-vehicle crash closed Stoops Ferry Road near Shafer Road this morning.

Police say one person had to be rescued after becoming trapped inside the car.

That person was pulled to safety and taken to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition.

So far, there is no word on what caused the crash.
