2 Tractor Trailers Collide On Pa. Turnpike

BEDFORD (KDKA) — Traffic was backed up after two tractor-trailers crashed into each other on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The accident happened at mile marker 144.5 westbound near the Bedford Interchange.

The fire from the crash burned for about an hour and a half.

The semis were carrying vinyl flooring and ceramic tile.

Traffic was detoured to the Bedford and Breezewood exits.

One person was taken to UPMC Bedford, but there is no word on the victim’s condition.
