PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead this morning in the Fineview section of Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Police say the body was spotted just before 7 a.m. lying near a pickup truck in the 600-block of Suffolk Street.
“A man walking his dog this morning noticed a deceased white male, appears to be in his 40s, lying next to a pickup truck,” said Detective George Trosky, of Pittsburgh Police.
The man has been identified as 34-year-old James Burkholder.
“It’s undetermined at this time what the cause of death is,” he added. “They found him about 10 till seven this morning.”
Detective Trosky said officials with the Pittsburgh Police Homicide unit and the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate.
