No, LeBron James won’t be the one making “The Decision” at Central Valley High School this approaching Friday, but there are certain similarities.

Hopewell senior tailback Rushel Shell, the WPIAL career rushing leader and one of the most sought-after high school prospects in the country, confirmed to KDKA-TV’s Bob Pompeani Saturday morning on 93.7 The Fan’s “The Bob Pompeani Show” he will announce his college decision before the Vikings’ Week 7 contest against the WPIAL Class AAA champs, with ESPN cameras present.

Shell, who missed Hopewell’s Week 6 loss to New Castle with what has been characterized as a ”mild” concussion, also confirmed he expects to return to action in Friday’s game, which is scheduled for a special 6:00 P.M. kickoff on ESPN-U.
