Frank Coonelly joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93.7 The FAN to talk about how excited the Pirates are to be coming home again and broadcasting their games on KDKA-FM.

Now that the Pirates have their new rights holder checked off on their offseason to do list, Frank told us what else they are looking to do to improve the team on the field.

Coonelly talked about what the team is doing to bring back veterans like Derek Lee, while locking up their core players like Andrew McCutchen.  One player they won’t be bringing back under his current contract is Paul Maholm, who Coonelly said will not have his option exercised.
