It was a thoroughly disheartening homecoming Saturday for most of the forty-thousand-plus in attendance at Heinz Field, but if it’s any consolation, Pitt did earn one major victory this weekend after all.
Hopewell senior tailback Rushel Shell, the top-ranked “big back” and No. 11 Division I prospect in the country according to CBS Sports/MaxPreps, has committed to the Panthers. He made it official at a press conference at Hopewell Senior High School Friday morning.
