PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Pittsburgh has launched a $100,000 contest to raise awareness of the city as a destination – a place to live, not just visit. 

Fred Thieman, president of the Buhl Foundation, says his organization is working with other foundations, the city and Allegheny County in the “Experienced Dreamers” contest.

They want someone willing to move here to fulfill a dream – and they’re offering $50,000 in cash and a $50,000 charitable trust in the winner’s name. Thieman says the big winner will be the city – because of the buzz from the contest.
