PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A local woman was killed in a crash on the Parkway East.

State police say the single-vehicle crash happened around 1 p.m. near Monroeville.

According to crash investigators, Robyn George, 33, of Murrysville, apparently made a hard right while in the left lane between the Rodi Road on-ramp and Monroeville exit ramp while traveling eastbound.

Her 2011 Nissan Versa then went up an embankment, hit a light pole after coming down the embankment and ended up in the left and center lanes of the highway.

George was ejected from her vehicle.
