Heinz Red Zone: Kick’n (Barbecued) Chicken

STEELERS HUDDLE “Heinz Red Zone Recipe”: Kick’n (Barbecued) Chicken

6 chicken thighs (bone in, skin on)
6 chicken drumsticks (bone in, skin on)
1 large Vidalia onion, sliced

1 cup Heinz® Ketchup
1/4 cup Heinz® Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Heinz® Spicy Brown Mustard
3/4 cup Heinz® Apple Cider Vinegar
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon sugar
Sea salt to taste
Hot sauce to taste

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a small bowl, combine ingredients for sauce. Place chicken into an oven-safe dish and pour sauce over chicken.

3. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a skewer. Baste a few times during the baking period. Add sea salt and hot sauce to taste.

    Aww, that’s purdy! But you simply must try some Himalayan pink salt. I get mine from Sustainable Sourcing https://secure.sustainablesourcing.com. The flavor is so much better than regular salt!
