Houses, Signs Vandalized In Franklin Twp.

By Kym Gable

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police in Franklin Township, Beaver County, say they are close to singling out the suspects who spray-painted profanity and obscene images on several homes in the area.

Several houses, garages, mailboxes, and road signs were vandalized in the Lancaster Road area.

"You don't know what to think when you see something like that," Don Bingle, a victim, said. "Get up in the morning like that there and look out and you see a big name like that – that was bad."

Officer Jonathan Fauzey tells KDKA's Kym Gable his department believes the culprits are juveniles.

Witness statements have flushed out some leads.

"We have a couple people in mind," Fauzey said. "I think with further investigation and looking at a couple people we have in mind, I think we could probably narrow it down."

Fauzey says not only do they intend to prosecute, but they also want to make the vandals pay for the damage.
