Officials Investigate Bloomfield Bank Robbery

BLOOMFIELD (KDKA) -- Police continue their search for a suspect following a bank robbery in Bloomfield Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the First Commonwealth Bank in the 4900-block of Liberty Avenue.

According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank and demanded cash from one of the tellers.

Authorities say the suspect got away with some money, which was visible under his arm.

Emergency dispatchers said the man claimed to have a gun, but didn't show a weapon.

The FBI describes the suspect as a white male in his 40s or 50s, weighing 200 pounds with a medium build.

No one was hurt during the incident.
