Steelers Guard Chris Kemoeatu Discusses $25K In Fines

Chris Kemoeatu talked with Joe Starkey of Seibel, Starkey and Miller to talk about the two separate fines he received for plays in last week’s game against the Cardinals.

Kemoeatu felt one of the fines was fair because it was the same thing he had been fined for before hitting players late in the pile, but doesn’t agree with getting fined for a facemask.

Kemoeatu’s agent will appeal these fines, like every other one he has ever received, but he has never gotten a lesser fine going through the appeals process. He said he needs to be smarter and realize officials will be watching him now that he has been fined.

Kemoeatu finished by talking about New England and what the Steelers offensive line will go up against when they play the Patriots 4:15 p.m. Sunday at Heinz Field.
