Halloween Party-Goers Feel Impact Of Movie Filming On South Side

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Filming continues on Tom Cruise's new movie "One Shot" and it could cross paths with the Halloween festivities on Carson Street this weekend.

When Halloween hits Pittsburgh's South Side, you can expect to see almost anyone or anything. Maybe even Tom Cruise?

Well, possibly!

KDKA did find Superman and Superwoman pumping gas. Another man was dressed up as Colonel Sanders, bucket of fried chicken in hand.

Saturday was a night when people had a chance to act out their fantasies or do something weird.

But the madness affects traffic as well. Gridlock started early on East Carson Street, all because the 10th Street Bridge was closed down all the way through the Armstrong Tunnel.

The bridge was lit up like a giant Christmas tree for filming. Some of the party-goers didn't seem to mind the inconvenience though.

"Good for the city," said one party-goer. "[It's] putting us on the map, keeping us on the map."

Everything is expected to be back open by 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
