PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — ROOT Sports high school football coordinating producer Craig McConnell joined 93-7 The Fan’s John Phillips Saturday morning, as he does every week, to discuss WPIAL football, and this week he breaks down Upper St. Clair’s big win over Mount Lebanon.

Regarding that Quad-A contest, which was both seen on ROOT Sports and heard on The Fan, Craig explains why he isn’t surprised USC won decisively, and what has impressed him the most about the 2011 Panthers.

In addition, Craig talks about how far Upper St. Clair can go, and which dark-horse teams in the other three WPIAL classifications he’s keeping an eye on as the postseason begins…
