Teen Injured In Apparent Hit & Run In Moon Twp.

MOON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Authorities are investigating after a 17-year-old girl was seriously injured in an apparent hit and run accident in Moon Township late Saturday night.

According to officials, the teenager was walking in the 200-block of Moon Clinton Road just before 10 p.m. when she was struck.

There are no sidewalks along the roadway and it was dark.

When paramedics arrived at the scene, authorities say the girl was unresponsive. So far, there is no word on her condition.

Meanwhile, police are looking for a black, full-sized pickup truck with one working headlight that reportedly left the scene after the accident.
