NORTH HUNTINGDON (KDKA) -- North Huntingdon police and the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office continue to investigate following the discovery of a man's body this afternoon in North Huntingdon.

Authorities say the discovery was made in a creek bed that runs along Route 30 in the area of the Giant Eagle and Kohl's stores.

According to investigators, a landscaper was doing work in the area when he spotted the body face down in the water and called police.

There is no word yet on how the man died or how long the body was there before it was discovered.

Authorities have not released the man's identity, but officials say he is believed to be in his 30s.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday.
