PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A missing 11-year-old girl is home safe and sound today after she was found overnight.

Police report that Ajelore Gant was found around 2 a.m.

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear, but authorities say she is fine.

Officials say Gant went to school Thursday at Pittsburgh Obama on Penn Avenue, but she wasn’t on the bus when it got to her stop in Garfield.

She was discovered sleeping behind a church in Larimer, authorities said.
