LOWER BURRELL (KDKA) — At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle accident this morning in Westmoreland County.

Emergency dispatchers in Westmoreland County report that the crash happened sometime around 9:30 a.m. on Route 366 in Lower Burrell.

A jeep and several tri-axle vehicles were involved in the crash, according to emergency officials.

KDKA’s Mary Robb Jackson reports that one person was flown from the scene by medical helicopter. There is no word on that person’s condition.

The road has been reopened.

There is also no word on what caused the accident.
