PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Seneca Valley head football coach Don Holl joined 93.7 The Fan’s John Phillips Saturday to discuss Friday’s 30-13 WPIAL First Round victory over Penn Hills at Plum High School, which gave the Raiders their first playoff win–and first eight-win season–since 2002.

Don talks about his team’s keys to an upset of defending state champion North Allegheny, the Raiders’ next playoff opponent, and he also talks about what he admires most in junior running back Forrest Barnes, who accounted for over 200 offensive yards and all three of his team’s touchdowns Friday.

In addition, Don discusses the other young leaders on Seneca Valley’s team, and the importance of special teams not just in this week’s win, but in the team’s overall success…

The WPIAL Football Quarterfinals kick off next Friday night at various neutral sites to be determined.
