PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Former KDKA Radio personality Perry Marshall has passed away.
He died Saturday morning in Pittsburgh after becoming ill during a cruise to Canada.
Marshall worked at nearly every Pittsburgh radio station during his long and successful career.
At KDKA, he replaced Jack Wheeler on the overnight shift and stayed there until his retirement in 1988.
Marshall was 86.

Too bad there isn’t another talk host at KDKA that will be remembered 20 years from now……..the current crop makes everyone remember the good old days

When I was a kid I spent what seemed like a lifetime at Perry and Elaines house. I feel so bad that I never stayed in touch over the years to let them see how my life progressed and how their family grew. Perry you are already in heaven.
