PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Pitt took on Kentucky Wesleyan College Monday night at the Petersen Events Center in the final tune up for the season opener Friday.

The Panthers won, 76-67 behind a strong performance by small forward Lamar Patterson, who scored 22 points and added five rebounds and three assists.

Nasir Robinson made news as well, returning to action from offseason knee surgery. He played just 10 minutes because of an elbow to the face, but still managed to score six points and pull down four rebounds.

Ashton Gibbs was his regular, solid self, scoring 20 points.
