Hines Ward Says He Will Play Against Cincinnati

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Hines Ward started the foundation PositiveAthlete.org to help get area youth into playing sports and using it as an outlet to give kids a positive upbringing, and helping them turn into great young-men. He joined the Fan Morning Show to talk about it, and everything Steelers.

Looking back at the Baltimore game where Hines left and did not return because of concussion-like symptoms, Hines said he, “got a little dinged up, but, [he] will be ready for Cincinnati.” Hines wanted to finish the  game, saying, “I thought I could play, but, for whatever reason, they didn’t want to risk anything.”

As for the young receivers around him, Hines says that he is having fun playing and when it is time for him to move on from the Steelers, he will leave it in good hands. Hines takes great pride in the fact that Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown, and Emmanuel Sanders are all turning into great blocking wide-receivers, which is something that he has preached to them.

Looking forward to the Bengals, Hines sees a team that is much-improved, and it will be a fight for the Steelers to come out of Cincy with a win.

are you trying to say something here???? Talk about losing…anytime one talkes bad about another it reflects on themself…this applies to almost everyone on these boards

  2. Nikko says:

I think its so funny how ridiculous people act when it comes to their comments about the Steelers and Hines Ward, he will make more money than you will ever see your entire life. You hate what you can’t ever become and that is a class act like Hines Ward and organization like the Steelers. It’s a football game, get a life and stop acting like a five year old with all your name calling! You sweep us for the first time and five years, congrats to you, but it took you five years to do it and by the way when was the last time you went to any Super Bowl, take your time answering, because it’s been a while – emphasis on a while!!! Weren’t talking trash then were you? Learn to be just as gracious in losing as you are in winning, I know that is a lot to ask for!

  3. steelers losers says:
