SUV Crashes Into North Strabane Township House

NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — For a North Strabane Township man and his elderly dad, they had an uninvited guest around dinner time.

Dennis Pintar and his 89-year-old father Frank were stunned when an SUV came crashing into their enclosed front porch.

Dennis said he was watching KDKA-TV news at the time. He heard breaking glass and knew something happened.

He looked outside and saw a bloodied driver get out of the SUV. He immediately called 911. The man told police he was on medication, but police say the man had been drinking.

The driver was taken to hospital for blood alcohol test.

Pintar’s elderly father, who suffers from a heart problem, was in his bedroom and the SUV narrowly missed hitting him.
