Allegheny County Rejects UPMC Bond Issue

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Allegheny County has canceled plans to float $335 million dollars in tax-free bonds for UPMC. 

Friction over UPMC's stand-off with healthcare insurer, Highmark apparently doomed this deal.

County Council President Jim Burn talked to the KDKA Afternoon News with a closer look at what happened.
