More Power to you?

That will be the case if the second-year Arena Football League team has its way.

According to the Pittsburgh Power's official website, they plan to expand their television coverage on WPCW-TV/The CW for the 2012 season.

Nothing is official yet, according to the station. However, if the Power's plan comes to fruition, a total of 12 games--seven at home, and five on the road--will be seen on The CW, in addition to the four games already set for live coverage on NFL Network. The Saturady, May 12 game at San Antonio and the Sunday, June 24 contest at Philadelphia would be the only ones on the entire schedule subject to local blackout.

Under the plan, two games--Friday, Apr. 6 versus Iowa and Friday, Apr. 20 at New Orleans--would be shown on The CW on tape delay the following Saturday at 7:30 P.M.

The CW broadcast eight of nine home games during the Power's inaugural season, but did not broadcast any of the team's nine regular season away games. Three games were aired live on NFL Network.

In any event, it sounds like more games will be televised this approaching season, per a conversation with an internal source, but we'll have more once the team's television schedule is formalized and released.

Of one thing we are certain: the AFL has confirmed the start times for its entire 2012 schedule. Here is an updated look at the Pittsburgh Power's slate:
